When car radios are exported from the USA sometimes the FM section the will not work locally because the radio will only scan frequencies ending in odd numbers e.g. 96.7 Mhz.

This US band expander unit shifts the Mhz by 0.1 to allow American car radios to pick up the even stations e.g. 96.8 Mhz. The unit is compact (dimensions 80mm x 15mm excluding leads) and uses a plastic housing to ensure no shorts behind the dash. The AM signal is not effected as the unit lets AM signals go straight through.

Full installation instructions are provided with the packaging. Installation takes about 5 - 10 mins.
